Lambeth Maca visit

John Bowis visited St John's Villa, a high-support registered care home for 18 people in Lambeth - run by Maca, a leading national mental health charity. (January 2004).

Maca serves people with mental health needs and their carers. The charity works in partnership with health and local authorities, criminal justice agencies, housing associations, voluntary and other independent sector providers to deliver a wide range of community and hospital-based services. It is the country's oldest community mental health charity with a track record of 125 years successfully supporting people with a mental illness. This year Maca celebrates its 125th anniversary.
