ACP/EU Resolution on Elderly, Aged and Young People

John Bowis successfully negotiated for a Resolution to be taken to the ACP Assembly in Cape Town in March 2002. It highlights that the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health should be a basic human right, with equal access to healthcare for all and, amongst other things, calls on the European Union to work with ACP countries in working towards and offering affordable health care to all.
